Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Wash, sanitize, and store all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and waste disposal points
- Operate dishwashing machines and manage cleaning chemicals safely
- Sort and dispose of waste and recyclables according to venue procedures
- Ensure kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, exhaust hoods) is cleaned per schedule
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
- Restock cleaning and kitchen supplies as required
- Prior experience as a steward/dishwasher in F&B or hospitality preferred but not essential
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Physically fit — able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Team player with good attitude and reliability
- Fast-paced kitchen environment
